Tour Scotland July Rain
Tour Scotland July Rain. July is often the wettest month in Scotland. Heavy downpours, as we had today, may occur, but they are normally quite short-lived, and if you simply shelter in your vehicle, they will soon pass by. For detailed information on the weather in Scotland, please check out: BBC Scotland Weather.

Tour Scotland Sunset Song
Trying to locate an Audio Book copy of Sunset Song by Lewis Grassic Gibbon. Have been at the centre at Arbuthnott but they couldn't help. My husband has a copy read by, I think , the Scots actress Eileen McKinnon or McCallum? which has been damaged and I would like to replace. Don't know if you can help but thought it was worth a try! Many thanks, Janice Forrest.
Can anyone help ?

Tour Scotland Leith Hall
Hello Sandy, I am a visual artist and I am working on an art project based on the history of Leith Hall in Scotland. I am wondering if you could help me. I would like to find out the name and the kind of a dog that belonged to the Colonel Alexander Sebastian Leith-Hay. Unfortunately the web reproductions of his ceremonial portrait with the dog are just not clear enough. I would very much appreciate your response. Sincerely, Maria Petschatnikov.
Can anyone help with this question ?

Dougie MacLean Scotland
Hi Sandy, I agree that Dougie MacLean is a wonderful songwriter and performer of Scottish songs. My people came to NZ from the Isle of Rona, and so I am very interested in my Scottish roots. We visited Scotland in 2006 and as we knew some of his work, we looked him up on google , specifically to see where he was playing. We traveled from Edinburgh to Innerleithen for a music festival where he was guest artist. We were not disappointed. He worked with the audience and had a singing. Later we all went to the pub for a session. Dougie played his fiddle. But what was awesome was that he was so encouraging of other performers. I hear he has been in New Zealand before, but it would be wonderful it he could come to the NZ folk Festival in Wellington. Cheers. Rona Cooper, Levin New Zealand

Tour Scotland Highland Enchantment

Tour Scotland Highland Enchantment. Hello Sandy Stevenson,
It would be really great if you added my novel to your web site. Here is a short description of the novel. "Alyssa Mead's well-ordered life is turned upside down when she inherits a bleak and rambling house on a remote Scottish island. Curious to know why the house was left to her, Alyssa soon becomes dangerously entangled with the local islanders. Increasingly aware of an unseen presence which lurks in the shadows, she finds herself slipping between two worlds. With a growing sense of unease, Alyssa fears a ghost from the past is trying to possess her. To her dismay, she discovers there is a rival claimant to the old house. And what about the enigmatic Rory, where does he fit in? The island holds many secrets for Alyssa to uncover..." Best wishes from Charmian Stewart (Bondi) . Highland Enchantment.
