
David Robertson Ancestry Tour of Scotland. This gravestone can be found in Abernethy Churchyard, Perthshire, Scotland. Erected by William Robertson, Weaver, Abernethy. In memory of his son David Robertson, who died 6th July 1808, aged 23 years. Also in affectionate remembrance of two of his great grand children who lost their lives by the falling of the Tay Bridge on the evening of the 28th December 1879. Alexander Robertson, aged 22. William Robertson, aged 20 years. Their bodies were recovered and are buried here. They were the beloved sons of William Robertson and Elizabeth Clark, who deeply mourn their loss.
