Glenelg with its Iron Age Brochs, the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Loch Ness and the famous Eilean Donan Castle all make for good days out. A little further afield, the Fort William to Mallaig train journey is one of the most scenic in Scotland and Inverewe Gardens some of the best known.
