Old Methil Scotland

I was born in Buckhaven, the village adjacent to Methil. Many of the pictures in this book show areas of the town that have now been completely razed and redeveloped, with modern council housing situated where sandstone tenements once stood. Included are pictures of the old Palace Cinema, the Customs House, the bustling docks and one of the town's former trams. All the main shops and streets are featured, along with pictures of Dubbieside, Kirkland, Methilhill and Denbeath. Methil No More! (Fife Heritage S.).
