
I have strong links to Newburgh, having been the Community Development Worker placed in Newburgh when the linoleum factory closed. The photograph on the front cover shows the linoleum factory, and this once vital local industry features in about six or seven other pictures in the book. Besides the main streets and sights of the town, the Mugdrum Estate, Remilton, Glenburnie, Bell's Quarry and Lindores are also included. As an aside, Old Newburgh is the only Stenlake Publishing book to feature a horse inside a post office!. Old Newburgh.
