Fishing enthusiasts can also try their luck catching some salmon, or enjoy sea fishing, both of which can also be arranged. Half a mile away is a small private beach, whilst the famous ‘Bridge over the Atlantic’ to Seil Island is just a mile away. Easdale is 7 miles. To the north is Oban, 10 miles, a busy fishing port, with an 18-hole golf course, many shops, a cinema, indoor pool, tennis and squash courts, and a good choice of restaurants. Visitors to Oban, which is overlooked by the Greek/Roman-style MacCaig’s Folly, also benefit from opportunities to catch a ferry to any of the several islands off shore.
