Spectacular sunrises, sunsets and occasional storms provide natural variety to the presiding peace. Excellent regular bird spotting, seal observation and occasional glimpses of red squirrels and dolphins occur without leaving the garden. Many ships pass nearby including the paddle-steamer Waverley on its daily summer cruises.
