Snow arrived overnight in Scotland. I took this Scottish photograph at 10am at Perth South Inch. The South Inch was granted to the royal burgh of Perth by King Robert II in 1374. "Inch" is the old Gaelic for "island"; South Inch is close to the River Tay, and prone to flooding. In days gone by, the South Inch was used for public cattle grazing, and from at least 1613 for horse racing, and also golf. These days the South Inch is used as a public park with soccer and other leisure activities.
