Tour Tomb of Robert the Bruce, Dunfermline Abbey, Scotland. Robert the Bruce was buried, in 1329. The heart of Robert the Bruce rests in Melrose, but his bones lie in Dunfermline Abbey, where they are interred below the pulpit. A monumental brass inserted in the floor indicates the royal vault.
