Pittenweem is one of my favourite villages in Scotland. Fishing, first for herring and then later for white fish, was enormously important to Pittenweem and features heavily in this book with perhaps half being devoted to the shore, harbour, housing and related industries. The remainder of the book covers the town, with Eric Eunson's text up to his usual high standard making this an informative and readable story. Old Pittenweem.
