The Meikleour Beech Hedge, Perthshire, Scotland, is on the A93 Perth to Blairgowrie road, twelve miles north of Perth. It is marked on most roadmaps but is not signposted.

    I was taken to see the biggest beech hedge in the world when I was hitchhiking around Scotland with my cousin. It was 1964 and I was 12. My cousin was 14. To my surprise it did look like a hedge and not just a collection of trees.
